I've got more important things to do than sit around here twiddling my thumbs. And don't try any of that 'Oh you'll never escape!' bullshit on me. There's always a way out. If you guys haven't already found it, then I guess you're just not looking hard enough. Good thing for me, I'm not half bad at stupid shit like getting out of dumb buildings like this.

[He moves to close the book, and then pauses, thinking for a moment.] And if anyone's seen a short, angry woman with a scar across her nose, let me know. She'll kick my ass if I leave without her.

What kind of chaos can you create, anyway? If you cause any destruction to the Keep, or its inhabitants, there will be a public punishment that could range from a wide variety of things. N-no one's allowed to interfere...

[A chill courses through her, and Chloe shudders. The was the headsman moved towards her. Appeared in more than one form. Stopped her from going to him.]

Whatever it will be... it won't be pleasant.

I can break things pretty easily. Or blow them up, if I've got the right stuff.

I dunno how I feel about being punished in public. That sorta thing should be done in private. [It's possible he's not talking about the same kind of punishment.]

Hmm. As much as the Keep blowing up and everyone escaping sounds like a pretty good idea to me right now, I don't think I'd want to chance it if I was you. If anything backfired, the remnants of the following punishment wouldn't be pretty.

[A pause. Then she gets is and turns a deep hue of red.]

[Great. Way to sound smooth and unaffected. Chloe holds her breath for a second, then shrugs and tries to sound bored.]

If you're in to that kind of thing. Though if you are, maybe causing a little wreck to the Keep won't deter you after all. If you decide to do anything drastic, let me know? I think the majority of us would like to break free, here.
